Pure Copper Soldering Iron Tips

A major component in electric soldering irons is the pure copper soldering iron tips.  These tips are made of 85% high thermal conductive copper, electrolytic or red, which are great for quick and low consumption heating. Due to the durability issues, pure copper soldering iron tips are plated with nickel, chromium, and tin. Oxidation and corrosion resistance, which extend the durability, are characteristics of nickel and chromium. The tin improves solder wettability and adhesion.

Soldering iron tips are one piece and in various designs, pointed, horseshoe, flat, and knife-edge, made for different soldering needs. For example, pointed tips are for detailed work, in contrast to larger solder joint needs with flat or horseshoe tips.

Wear-resistant tips intended for heavy-duty soldering in electronics manufacturing, electrical engineering, and automotive repair industries are TUCO Alloy pure copper soldering iron tips. Their excellent conductivity and smooth flow make them an ideal choice for creating durable, high-quality solder joints in both delicate and large-scale applications.
