ETP Copper Rod

An ETP copper rod (Electrolytic Tough Pitch Copper rod) is an extremely pure, high-quality copper alloy containing over 99.90% copper, making it a high-purity copper material. The metallurgical structure of ETP copper rods is mainly Copper. During the manufacturing process, ETP copper rods do acquire a small amount of phosphorus (in the range of 0.015-0.040 wt%) to aid the deoxidation process and improve some further processing characteristics. Regarding ETP copper electrical properties, it has a conductivity range of 58-101% IACS, thermal conductivity is also remarkable, and the tensile strength and ductility are high. The alloy also possesses high hardness and strength, along with good plasticity and toughness. During the manufacturing process of ETP Copper rods, corrosion, cutting, and welding are easily performed. ETP copper corrosion resistance is also good, and stable operation is maintained in seawater, salty environments, and in the general atmosphere. The use of ETP copper is in automotive parts, food industry equipment, chemical industry devices, medical devices, electronics (manufacturing circuit boards, connectors, transformers, and contactors), and in construction ( busbars, heat exchangers, and pipes), and in mechanical manufacturing (bearings and gears, and other high-stress parts).
