ASTM F68 Pure Copper Wire
ASTM F68 pure copper contains around 99.99% refined copper, making it a material of very high purity. Because of how it can reach 101% IACS of conductivity, also making it highly necessary for many industrial uses due to its conductivity, it can be used on wiring, conductors, and bus bars without losing its ductility and malleability. It can retain its ductility when bent, formed, and machine-processed. It has softness that allows for easy processing into wires, sheets, and complex shapes. It also has good corrosion resistance that allows it to be used in many environments. Additionally, for pure copper, its ductility can increase further in the annealed state by hardness due to cold working, allowing it to be used for different working conditions.
