Tungsten Copper Strips
A Copper Tungsten alloy strip is a strip alloyed as a Copper Tungsten alloy with a content of 50 - 90% Tungsten, and most often 50 - 90% Tungsten content alloyed as a strip. Because of its alloyed and unique properties, such as high strength and hardness, high density, and high abrasion resistance, this alloyed strip is still used in Electronics, Electric power, Medicine, Communication, Aerospace, and even the Military industries.
The most common thicknesses of these alloyed strips range from 0.05mm to 3mm. When choosing the thickness, the intended uses of the copper tungsten strip should also be taken into consideration. For example, increasing thickness will decrease the strip's thermal conductivity but also increase its strength and wear resistance.
Depending on the application, tungsten copper strips can be described in width, length, and thickness. For instance, the standard tungsten copper strips come in thicknesses of 0.1mm to 2mm, widths of 10mm to 300mm, and lengths of 100mm to 300mm. These can also be customised according to the client's needs.
