Tungsten Copper Electrode
Tungsten-based composites are high-performance refractory metals made by various techniques
involving pressing, sintering, and copper infiltration, which are tightly controlled. The characteristics
of composites are determined by the copper-to-tungsten ratio. Higher tungsten content increases
electric arc and wear resistance, but decreases thermal and electrical conductivity. The unique
mechanical and physical properties of ingress and egress materials (especially copper’s high
electrical conductivity and wear resistance of tungsten), and the resultant optimized
manufacturability, explain much of the value of Copper Tungsten Electrodes. We could provide
the best quality customized W-Cu Electrodes for you.
