Tungsten Alloy Heat Sink
We are committed to delivering expertly machined components in an array of materials. The featured project is an aerospace application design and is composed of copper tungsten heat sinks. This composite metal is lightweight and provides excellent thermal conductivity, making it ideal for intricate components subjected to high temperatures and extreme conditions.
We use ultra-precise inspection and metrology equipment at every stage to ensure that we achieve the tolerances of ± 0.02 mm and consistent plating thicknesses of 1 micron. Trustworthy communication devices are crucial in military operations. Our aerospace partners rely on us for our plating and materials technologies to meet and exceed their standards.
Copper tungsten heat sinks possess remarkable characteristics, including those of silicone carbide, aluminium oxide, and beryllium oxide. The thermal conductivity, paired with the low expansion characteristics of tungsten and copper, also makes it suitable for very dense circuits and less expansion.
