New Energy Vehicle Tellurium Copper Rods
C14500 alloy (QTe0.5) Tellurium Copper Rods are some of the highest performing copper alloys available. Due to its meticulous design, it is optimal for severe electrical applications, making it especially useful in new energy vehicles. In new energy vehicles, tellurium copper rods are used for the construction of numerous high-current connection components. These include charging gun connectors (both the male and female connectors), high-voltage DC relay contactors, battery connection harnesses, and additional components within the motor. These components are made for high current capabilities, and also for plenty of engagement and disengagement cycles within arcing environments. Tellurium Copper rods are used within charging stations and charging guns due to their ability to reduce arc burn damage. This makes charging safe while extending the overall service life of the equipment. Tellurium Copper rods also have numerous advantages over standard material alternatives. They provide significantly high levels of conductivity, enhanced strength and hardness, excellent processing performance, and a suitability for numerous molding processes. When processing Tellurium Copper rods, the processing efficiency is greater when compared to standard copper. Greater efficiency is also noted when juxtaposed to Silver Copper Alloys, in addition to meeting eco-friendly requirements (lead-free) while providing a competitive price point.
