Custom CuAl2O3 Electrode

The unique features of some electrode materials, such as dispersion-strengthened copper CuAl2O3, make them one of a kind.  Compared to regular chromium-zirconium copper, they have more than five times the electrode life and higher weld counts. This extends the time needed on electrodes and increases the output of fully automated welding lines. Copper-aided aluminum oxide electrodes are, among other things, high performers, with high strength and high softening temperature, as well as excellent conductivity.  When working with galvanized steel sheets, they are particularly good at avoiding electrode-workpiece adhesion, which effectively solves the problems associated with welding galvanized steel, therefore, improving efficiency and lowering the cost of production. The only factor that limits the broad application of these electrodes is cost. Among galvanized steels, their application is welding galvanized steel sheets, which offers a high demand potential. Opal electrodes have a softening temperature of 930 ̊C, electrical conductivity of 85% IACS, and excellent fatigue and wear resistance. They are suitable for a wide range of applications, including welding galvanized steel sheets, aluminum products, carbon steel sheets, and stainless steel sheets.
