CuNiTi Alloy Target
The elements that form a sputtering target compose most CuNiTi alloys, including corrosion-resistant materials and titanium, nickel, and copper, as well as thermally and electrically conductive metals. The combination of titanium, copper, and nickel can yield end products with custom magnetic properties. These can be useful to be incorporated in magnetic sensors as well as memory and spintronic devices. CuNiTi alloys are also considered in sputtering applications since copper improves thermal activation properties and prevents permanent deformation, making the target softer and more flexible. CuNiTi alloys are also useful in applications that require good thermal and electrical conductivity, as well as corrosion resistance and strong mechanical properties.
