C19210 CuFe0.1P Copper Alloy
C19210 is a heat-treatable microalloy Cu-Fe-Palloy, having 10 wt% Fe & 3 wt% P, with fine precipitates of Fe, which makes this alloy have a very high level of retention & conductivity of electrical & thermal energy along with improved mechanical stability. It has very good cold formability, good tinning, and good resistance to softening and stress relaxation at the higher temperatures, and has good levels of modulus, which is a high modulus. It is a Cu alloy with a very unique set of properties, which makes it very suitable for several applications involving the transfer of heat and electrical energy. Out of the several properties of the alloy, electrical and thermal energy conductivity is received at around 92% IACS, which is very high. For challenging connector applications, this alloy is placed in order since the high softening temperature & very good levels of stress relaxation make this alloy the most suitable. It makes the alloy easier to form, even at higher strength levels, which is why KFC is extensively used for terminals where high levels of formation are needed with specific, elaborate shapes.
