C14415 CuSn0.15 Alloy Foil Strip

C14415 CuSn0.15 Alloy Foil Strip, an alloy that includes 0.15% tin, is mostly composed of copper. It has a higher softening temperature than pure copper and outstanding creep resistance, stress relaxation, and fatigue performance. The alloy does not exhibit stress-corrosion cracking. It possesses moderate corrosion resistance: "copper arthritis" (or "copper fatigue" is a phenomenon of fatigue that prevents a material from functioning due to stress accumulation, moderate strength and formability, and good electrical conductivity. It also has a significant strength performance in hot dip tin, welding, and plating. For electrical applications, it is ideal since having 0.1-0.15% tin, the alloy maintains 80% IACS conductivity.

Applications Of C14415 CuSn0.15 Alloy Foil Strip

1. Electronics Industry: Ideal for the manufacture of contactors, connectors, terminals, switches, and IC lead frames, which demand high conductivity and resistance to corrosion.

2. Automotive Industry: Used in components that require fatigue resistance and creep resistance, such as automotive connectors, radiator tanks, BGA substrate cooling material, and interconnects.

High-current connector tabs and central electric units in conventional and electric vehicles, male connectors, and fuse boxes.
