Ablation-resistant Tungsten-copper Plate
Tungsten-copper plates reflect high-performance composite material plates with copper and tungsten. They exhibit extreme abrasion resistance and have high melting points and hardness with extremely electrically and thermally conductive copper. They endure extreme abrasion and abrasive high-temperature dual-arc environments. A powder mixture of tungsten-copper is pressed and undergoes a liquid phase sintering of 1300-1500 with post-sintering infiltration to become a dense and pore-void-free product. Enhanced and uniform final product densities are a result of post-sintering activated sintering, mechanical alloying, and oxide co-reductor methods. The integrated attributes of abrasion resistance, high temperature, electric conductivity, and effortless processing offer utility to numerous high-demand spheres of high technology, like high voltage electrical apparatus, aerospace electric discharge machining, and industry.
